In this tutorial i am explaning how to transfer any domain from name.com to godaddy.com. This process may requires little transfer charges. Now a days there is promo when you sifting domain from any registrar to godaddy.com they are extending your domain for 1 year. Actually they are covering all charges in transfer fees. But not bad option for shifting to godaddy.con and get discounted rates about 30%-35% on any renewal as we always missing it on name.com

First goto Domain Transfer page and type your domain name to transfer from. Now godaddy will display you your admin email id from name.com and they will send you Transaction ID and Security Code.

Now goto Domain manager page and click on Authorization -> Begin Transfer Authorization. In next step you have to add these two codes from mail and one Authentication code for your domain from your name.com domain setting page! Authentication code is unique for each domain. After adding all 3 codes you done all process. Just wait for 5-6 days and domain will get transferred from name.com to godaddy.com account.
