ChatGPT Voice is an AGI moment for me.
1st AGI moment: Cursor w/ Sonnet 3.5
2nd AGI moment: Claude Code w/ Opus 4.5
3rd AGI moment: OpenClaw
And now ChatGPT Voice. It has completely transformed how I use AI.
First I'm going to cover how ChatGPT Voice has completely transformed how I use AI, then my workflow below it
BENEFITS:
Impossible to get distracted. If you are engaged in a conversation it is very difficult to doom scroll between prompts. I’m just getting more work per minute in now
Multi tasking is insanely easy. Voice acts as an orchestrator for ALL your projects. As long as I’m in Voice mode all my projects are moving forward
Makes it incredibly easy to stream of conscious blabber. The more thoughts you get out to the AI, the more it can parse your thought for good ideas
Makes my breaks productive. I now go for walks mid day and use Voice on the iOS app. It can remote into my Mac Studio and keep all my work moving.
Here’s the workflow I’ve been using:
Wake up
Open up ChatGPT Voice
Ask “what’s the status of my current projects and give me a recommended next step for each project”
Approve the recommendations you like
Choose a project you want to focus on. Brain dump everything you’re thinking about it. Ask how we can use that information to advance the project to your goal
Go back and forth until you’ve come up with an idea you like
Say “go ahead and start a thread on that”
Say “what’s next”
Repeat 6-8 as much as you can. Switching between projects as tasks finish
The key is asking for the AI’s opinion way more than you give commands
