DFOS is infrastructure for shared private internets. This is the internal update we shared with our pioneer members in the New Creative Era DFOS this week.
The big topic: Pioneer access coming
This is a major week for new product additions to DFOS. More on those in a moment. Most importantly to all of you: as of this Wednesday, we're going to grant our founding 2,000 DFOS members the ability to create your own spaces.
The product is ready. All of us are used to being in spaces together enough. The time has come.
For those of you who want to learn more about DFOS, we're going to be creating a week-long cohort experiment next week for folks who want to set up together and be our own mini-community.

The other big topic: New product launches this week
This is also a huge week for new product surface area, with two huge components coming online: money and groups.
In the next few days, subscriptions, treasuries, and money will enter the DFOS universe. The capabilities for all of these will steadily expand.
At the same time, we're introducing our new group architecture for within DFOS spaces: sub-communities within a DFOS with their own feeds and chats, that can be paid or free, and that will allow a wider variety of experiences and information diets within spaces.
We're planning for both of these to be live before we grant everyone creation access on Wednesday.
Week 05 highlights
We had a big conversation about what DFOS is becoming. A lot of great ideas and discussion.
We shared the March product roadmap, which includes money, personalized desktops, email, and a lot more.
We shipped updated permissions and space architecture and design that allows each DFOS to be more custom.
Robert continued to host Screenshot Saturdays and the Book Club.
