What no one is talking about that everyone should be talking about is how agents will remove the switching cost of SaaS providers, turning previously irreplaceable systems into carcasses of data repositories. That is when SaaS will really be hit.
We have the most insane back catalog of content at 20VC. I would pay $50,000 for a tool that could: Crawl the back catalog Find the best segments from past episodes Turn them into super engaging clips. -- Would pay another $50,000 if: They could then connect to our socials. Analyse past posts of a similar type that worked. Craft copy for the post. Analyse best time to post for each specific post. Then post to each different platform. This is what AI should be doing but is not.
Prediction: it is 2030 and Bending Spoons has acquired Snap.
Keir Starmer is in an impossible position. He has to get rid of Morgan McSweeney. That said, when you remove an aid like this, more often than not, you are weakened not strengthened. Same with Reeves, absolutely useless but again, remove and he is weakened. Instead he is left with two lacklustre people decaying trust and brand by the day for him.

A wise person once said you miss 100% of the shots you never take. So @elonmusk fancy coming on 20VC today with @rodriscoll and @jasonlk to shoot the s*** on the X merger; what it means and the go forward plan?! Would be fun! š
The story of Legora is absolutely nuts. A couple of kids from Sweden decide to upend the AI legal market. Raise $50K in angel funding and the journey begins. @ycombinator beckons and with the advice of @gustaf they raise a stellar āseedā round from @chetanp @benchmark In a matter of weeks, they raise a Series A from @loganbartlett @redpoint Then, the first board meeting comes and they tell their VCs, one thing, we will not be selling anything for the next 6 months. NOTHING. Today, less than two years later: $2BN valuation $200M+ raised from top VCs $50M+ ARR (latest reported) 300 employees in US and Europe The best shows are art (storytelling) and science (frameworks). One of the most f***** up things about building companies: As a founder you have to literally learn to enjoy being punched in the face. It is just too hard if you do not. There has to be this masochistic strain which thrives off it otherwise it will be too painful.
Prediction: it is 2027 and Bending Spoons has acquired Dropbox.
We are dramatically under-investing in data centres as of today.
Listening to a competitor podcast. 22 mins in, havenāt learned a thing. 80% wouldnāt have made the cut for a 20VC. The currency of our customer is time. We protect it and optimise it.
Satyaās statement of making Sundar dance was premature. Today, he sits at the helm of a company that does not own their own models and has no play in building their own chips. They are behind and have to buy. Satya should buy Mistral. If he wants to remain one of the worldās most valuable private companies, he has to have a play at the model layer.
Four days ago we announced 20VC would be producing the Midas List for European Micro-Funds. As of this AM, we have had 200+ submissions. Wow. This will be the most epic rankings!
The story of Harvey is absolutely fricking wild. Two friends, a lawyer and an engineer realise the power of OpenAI and legal and cold email Sam Altman and co. They have calls which lead to OpenAI leading their Seed Round as the sole investor. (baller) Sequoia (@gradypb), @eladgil @saranormous go on to lead their Series A. I just spoke to one of the best performing funds about a company: They said, āfounder is truly world class but we donāt think is directionally correct.ā š¤£ you kidding me. I want them to send me every company they think the founder is world class and not directionally correct on. Preparing the term sheet as we speak! š¤£
If you think Europe does not have the ability to build $100BN companies then you simply donāt have good dealflow. Itās that simple.
In the last 2 hours I have had 4 public company CEOs message to let me know that our 20VC with @rodriscoll @jasonlk is their weekly must listen. That is product market fit. š
Every single day I fight to help make the UK relevant in an insanely competitive world. It is clear now that Keir Starmer knew about Peter Mandelsonās relationship with Epstein when he appointed him Ambassador. This is another unacceptable flaw of a broken regime. You canāt
