pro tip if you want to grow on here or grow anything anywhere online. when you create you should always craft content that is instantly shareable. this is because in today’s age group chats are the real distribution layer. feeds are just staging area. if something can’t survive being dropped into a chat with zero context, it’s not going to get you anywhere.
my only advice to people who ask me for advice: you must learn to tell simple compelling stories. this skill will compound like crazy in every facet of your life. that’s it.
absolutely lovely to see this. kinda reminds you why anthropic’s whole vibe feels anomalously clean in a world addicted to sludge metrics. kudos to mike & team. also you can see a reflection of this in their marketing as well (which i posted about here before).
storytelling is the only way to impose meaning on abundance, coherence on noise, & legitimacy on power. strategy, ops, & capital are all downstream. without narrative control, none it will ever stick. this has been the core premise of my account. in a world of infinite output, story is the scarce primitive. whoever can compress chaos into something ppl can feel, remember, forgive, & rally around actually runs the system. this skill is worth more than the entire c suite combined.
the current work cadence at our tiny startup: mon - fri: 10 am – ~9 pm sat: we touch grass sun: 10 am – ~7 pm this is basically the closest you can get to working brutally hard without face planting into burnout. you have to build like it’s a marathon, not one dopamine fueled sprint. we will hit bursts but the macro goal is creating a sustaining force over absurd distances.
since a fuck ton of people dm on why lowercase writing & now some complaints on copying… lemme explain the my thesis on lowercase: i have a deep disdain for capital letters because uniform text is cleaner, more elegant.. there is no arbitrary hierarchy, no forced structure disrupting the flow. lowercase removes friction, lets ideas stand on their own. everything exists on the same plane, creating balance, visual harmony, & a kind of effortless cohesion. it also lets your brain process information faster ironically. i’ve been writing this way since middle school, even in professional emails. when i worked in corporate i would send vp’s emails in all lowercase. people lose their minds over it, mistaking it for laziness when it’s actually a deliberate considered choice. ppl’s frustration only proves the point… which is how fragile their attachment to meaningless formality really is. also sama didn’t invent lowercase writing just like he didn’t invent the transformer. lowercase is better.

the penalty for being average has never been so severe, but the payout for being extraordinary has never been higher.
