My marketing predictions for 2026: - People will start to realize that AEO, GEO or whatever you want to call it is something they can measure but not really influence besides traditional search fundamentals and building a brand real people talk about - In an attempt to make up for all the lost search clicks most brands will double down on hiring in-house creators who can demonstrate the ability to produce original content that gets attention online - As distribution channels shrink and acquiring new customers profitably becomes harder we’ll see more acquisitions of emerging bootstrapped players by bigger funded brands as a growth tactic
