Gartner says 40% of agent projects will fail by 2027. The post-mortems will all blame the model. It's almost never the model. It's that the agent got pointed at work nobody could measure. The ones that survive are aimed at something with a number attached. A P&L makes it really obvious whether you're actually working or just busy.
