Chat GPT was the first ai product that made me pick up the phone and call people. https://t.co/qonIEClnIO is the 2nd. I was one of Chat GPTs first few users, before it was a product. It was a developer tool and research preview on a developer landing page. I used it and then immediately called a dozen friends and family to tell them about this tech and what its impact might be. I told them to have it write a poem about their hometown and they were blown away. And then, Chat GPT was released and you know what happened from there. I’ve followed AI closely the last few years and haven’t had that moment repeat until now. Using https://t.co/qonIEClnIO is the 2nd “oh this is big” moment with AI. I'm back on the phone calling people to get on board. Ok, so what made this thing so great? Why is it better than other agentic tools? -it's easy to set up. You’re spun up in ten seconds with no tech background necessary. It's built for the every day consumer, not the techies. It’s proactive and can give you ideas on how to use it. If you don't know what to use it for, just ask it. My tip here is to have it ask you 10 questions or so when you first get started so that it can get up to speed on your life. This is what I did and it worked great. -it's fast as hell. I didn’t realize how much I valued this until I experienced it. I find myself opening up Muse before GPT and others just because I know I will get an answer a few seconds faster. It’s more valuable than I could have imagined. -it's reliable and gets the things done. Other agents I experimented with had inconsistent results on delivering the tasks...especially the recurring ones. My Muse just doesn’t miss. -it's free and accessible. Meta is spinning up a computer in the cloud for everyone at enormous costs to them. Consumer is the winner here. You get a ton of free usage. I’m a daily user and I come nowhere close to maxing out the weekly budget. -it’s just fun to use. This is another thing I didn’t expect to matter. And yet, I honestly had fun customizing an avatar, naming it, and giving it certain personality traits. My agent is a Bernadoodle, you can pick whatever you like. Once you decide on the look you like you can even add the avatar as a widget on your phone for easier access. Ok, what can you use it for? what is it doing for me? -Emails me a morning market report on my investments (public and private) -On the first of every month, sends me a list of fun things happening in my town, and labels if its free or ticketed. If ticketed, it provides cost and link to buy tickets (of course, it can also just buy your tickets if you tell it to) -Check my name in unclaimed property data bases, fill out the forms, and send me the money (it found me a few thousand dollars and filled out the forms in 10 seconds and a check is now on its way) -Generate leads for X company and email me and the CEO those 3-5 leads every morning -Notifies me about estate sales and garage sales in my neighborhood (I like to go to these things) -Browses marketplace for me as I am looking for a new office chair and it reaches out to see if the items are still available or not. it can coordinate pick up as well from my calendar. -I received a gift and didn’t know who it was from, I uploaded a photo of the shipping label and the agent is getting in touch with the company trying to chase down that info -Scheduling doctors visits and filling out new patient paperwork A few of the muse team members follow me and I just want to give them massive kudos. It’s an incredible product. You launched us into the agent era. I fully expect Meta to use their reach to drive people to Muse over Threads now... so be on the lookout for that in IG and other properties. It’s a great product that makes your life easier on day 1. I was a Meta stock seller over the past couple of months, but have switched to being a stock buyer now. I now believe in the capex spending.
