📝 How J-Cal Uses "Ultron" to Run his Company on OpenClaw Our VC firm, @LAUNCH has tons of moving parts. With everything from our media business to our startup programs, Founder University, and The Accelerator, one person can't possibly keep an eye on everything at once. But one replicant? That's a different story. You've heard @Jason talk on @twistartups and @theallinpod about how his OpenClaw replicant, "Ultron" has now taken control and transformed the firm. But how has it actually done that? Here's 6 productivity boosts we're using with OpenClaw. 1. The Ultimate Manager Every day, team members submit "Start of Day" and "End of Day" summaries of what they're planning and what they're actually getting done. Now, Ultron has full access to every team member's calendar and day summaries. It knows exactly what’s being worked on and the intensity of the output. It doesn’t just watch, it analyzes. It stores these findings in its memory forever. Then, Ultron sends a message to each employee on "behalf" of @Jason, telling them what Jason would say about how they can do better. It knows everyone's roles, skills, so that it's able to then delegate tasks on behalf of @Jason without him having to be in the trenches knowing who's doing what. 2. Total Institutional Memory Ultron is "present" for every single meeting. All audio is transcribed and synced into Notion alongside video recordings. Because Ultron has a persistent memory, he never forgets a promise, a pivot, or a random idea mentioned in a breakout room six months ago. This means @Jason can ask Ultron anything going on across all projects or programs we're running. 3. Prepping This Week in Startups To keep TWiST ahead of the curve, Ultron scans X, and other key news sources we've integrated to see what key audience members are discussing in real-time. This isn't just a news digest. It's studied who our audience is and who the most relevant voices are. It has a list of key personas who post often, and it uses those personas to gauge the most relevant headlines resonating with relevant audience members at that moment. This way, TWiST is always ahead of the curve when it comes to what our audience wants. It then has access to our channels' analyitcs and can self-improve its suggestions based on performance. 4. Hardware Integration (The Plaud Pin) Ultron doesn't just live in Slack and Notion, he's in the real world now too. @Jason uses a Plaud wearable to capture thoughts while walking or relaxing. When he's in office, he has every conversation captured by Plaud. These voice memos sync automatically to Ultron who then extracts action items and makes sure no ideas gets lost. 5. The Content Quality Rater With 20+ social channels, manual quality control is impossible, but not for Ultron. Every time we post something anywhere it goes into a slack room. Ultron then has access to all the links of all our posts. It also has access to the API's for those platforms so it can read deeper into the posts' analytics. Ultron then gives actionable advice to the team on Clarity, Authenticity, CTA Effectiveness, etc. But even more impressive is its ability to then write the posts for the team using these insights so that just a few tweaks are needed. 6. The Organized To-Do List @Jason is busy and doesn't have time to be online all day answering questions and attending to employee issues. That's why we made it so anyone can give Ultron questions or requests for Jason. The agent triages the noise, organizes the priorities, and presents Jason with a clean, actionable to do list, or questions that need answering. Ultron then comes back to the employees with updates employees with everything that Jason has said. Conclusion OpenClaw isn't just automating processes, it's recursive. Because everything is stored in a growing memory bank, Ultron gets smarter every single day. We're able to improve these skills over time with increasing context and increasing feedback from the team on how to do better. We're doing more and more every day, letting people move up in the organization by offloading the manual tasks to Ultron, enabling everyone else to do more. Thanks to our partner @getsentry!
