Every six weeks there's a new "this is what OpenClaw should have been" post. Before Hermes it was Mantis. Before that it was AgentStack. The pattern is always the same: clean docs, great demo, zero users running payroll on it. I'm not saying Hermes won't be good. I'm saying the gap between "impressive demo" and "I trust this with my Stripe keys" is about 400 hours of edge cases nobody wants to talk about.
