AI Rollups in Fragmented Service Industries Explained

General Catalyst (@generalcatalyst) Managing Director @marcbhargava tells us why they're so bullish on AI rollups in fragmented older industries: "If you look at the $16 Trillion revenue a year services industry there's probably 10 of the 70 or so subcategories where you can go in and do this" @marcbhargava says: "There's a really good chunk of the services segment where it's very difficult to implement AI, but the savings, and the efficiencies, and the better experiences for the end customers are there". "Many many industries are highly fragmented. They're more old school. They don't even buy technology, let alone AI technology...they're still working on things like software and cloud."
