Unpopular opinion: one single agentic interface will not win outright. I use 3 interfaces everyday in this order: - Cloud agents (natural language, multiple interfaces) - CLI - Desktop app Depends entirely on the task at hand, one approach doesn't work for everything.

Interesting to recall the last new IDE launch (a coding tool with an interface resembling an IDE): it was Antigravity, in November 2025. From around January 2026, most devs I know spend less and less coding inside IDEs (and more with terminals): after decades, this category of coding tools seems to be slowly going extinct / rapidly losing market share.
