Some people raised the possibility that Pangram only had 0 period false-positives for the Pan African Review because they trained on it. So, I asked: Did they train on the Pan African Review? The answer: no. Pangram flags their recent articles as AI because AI wrote them.

Several articles have come out saying AI text detectors discriminate against African writers, that they disproportionately flag them as using AI even when they don't. I tested this. It's not true.
