Using AI agents has a hidden cost that goes unnoticed. I’ve added all my skills to codex, I have multiple agents in slack that do things on a schedule and can be used by others on my team… and on paper they are all useful. But it causes me to always be in multitask mode. The mere existence that an agent is running somewhere uses up mental energy. Something I’m currently trying to solve for.
