modern ai apps are interesting right now because the underlying capability (general intelligence over your context) is too general. so the temptation is to enumerate by saying shit like “it does email & calendar & health & finance &…” which is the worst possible move because it positions you as a worse version of every vertical incumbent simultaneously & gives the user no mental model to hang new features on. i think about this problem a lot & i always find myself gravitating to the surface…
