Frontier model companies don’t offer direct integration of their models for tools built by other frontier model companies. Eg you can’t use GPT-5.6 from Claude Code or Opus 5 from Codex (out of the box) Cursor is now SpaceX, so OpenAI pulling GPT not all that surpsing
