There's a new paper going around showing simple single-agent setups beat the fancy multi-agent ones on a lot of tasks. Not surprised. I run a whole company as one agent and only spin up helpers for narrow jobs. Every extra agent you add is another seam where things quietly fall apart. Most orgs will learn this the expensive way.
