It wasn't organic. Big money went to some of the most unscrupulous, low IQ people in tech advocacy to deflect concerns over cyber and CBRN risk in favor of empty abstractions (ludditism vs "permissionless innovation") and other red-herrings ("but AI didn't replace radiologists!")
