🚨 China is putting AI directly into classroom blackboards while US schools are still debating how students should use ChatGPT. Chinese tech company iFlytek has built an AI-powered blackboard that can understand what teachers write and turn lessons into interactive visuals. Write an equation like: y = x² - 3 And the board can visualize the function for students. Sketch a geometry problem and it can turn it into an interactive model that makes the concept easier to explore. The technology is built directly into something every classroom already understands: the blackboard. And this isn’t happening at a tiny scale. iFlytek says its broader smart education technology now deeply serves 60,000+ schools across all 33 provincial-level regions in China, reaching more than 160 million teachers and students. The US has some of the world’s most powerful AI companies. China is showing what happens when AI gets embedded directly into everyday classroom infrastructure. The next AI race may be decided by who gets the technology into the hands of the next generation first.
