Ok so at @cxodev we talk to a lot of people about their AI spend and individual cap here’s what we tell them: 1. Capping your top spenders is counter productive because 99 times out of 100 they are the biggest impact 2. It’s easy to manage top spenders because you can find them and talk to them about what they’re doing and make it more efficient 3. “Budget divided by headcount is easy but not optimal” - @zachdavis 4. The good AI users will be extremely annoyed by this and do unnatural things…

New: Accenture has told employees it will only fund $29 per month of Claude use. Meaning that employees who often spend as much as $1,000 a month are now scrambling to find ways to keep access to the tool. A sign of the continuing crack down of AI https://t.co/Z2xswuSW5x
