North Korean Deepfake Job Application Infiltration

"I've seen first hand evidence of North Korean infiltration" says CEO and Co-Founder of @Greenhouse Daniel Chait re hiring in 2026: "You literally have state-funded North Korean corporations who's business is infiltrating Western remote IT jobs and stealing their money and intellectual property". Daniel discusses the deepfake application epidemic, it's sheer scale globally, and why people are worried: "I've been doing this for 15 years. Only in the last year we started talking to CISO's and the security departments of these companies. I've seen first hand evidence of North Korean infiltration". Deepfake related hiring attacks are doubling every six months since 2023. In 2024 a deepfake attack was estimated to occur every five minutes. "By the way, if you pay a North Korean, according to US law, it doesn't matter if you had good or bad intent, you are culpable criminally - the stakes are high".
