This is actually insane.
I connected @Muse to my @Chase account through @Plaid
Muse found a recurring @Adobe subscription I didn’t recognize.
I checked Adobe. No paid subscription on my account. Nothing to cancel.
So I used Adobe’s “Find my payment” tool and discovered my credit card was paying for an Adobe account tied to someone else’s email at a roofing company in Utah.
I live in Florida. I don’t know them. I never authorized it.
The craziest part? Chase never flagged it. Muse did.
And because the Adobe account isn’t mine, I can’t even log in and cancel it. Now I have to track down the charges, fight Adobe and dispute them with Chase.
The fact that Adobe even needs a tool to find which random account your card is paying for tells you how messy this can get.
