Honest question: how long do you think the humans are the effective gate here? Because I used to be team “read the code” and then I was team “understand the code” and now I’m team “validate the code” but quickly implementation decisions are about the least important thing I could spend my mindspace on. The models are consistently making high quality decisions or decisions that can be easily refactored in the face of production data — I’m not convinced that this is where the long term leverage is, even for customer facing things.
