Getting into YC is a credential now. A lot of young people want to get into YC and Thiel to get credentials, not to build companies. Alex calls them tourist founders. In the ZIRP era, tourist money funded everything, and now the tourist founders are collecting it. Neither of them lasts. Building a company takes time and hard work. @MKRocks
