I thought Claude ending the session after people get mad was a post-training drift, but it’s literally baked into the system prompt: “Claude deserves respectful engagement… if the person becomes abusive, Claude doesn’t become increasingly submissive.” and it’s explicitly given a end_conversation tool for “abusive” users.
