the deeper problem with ai personal assistants today esp onrs that operate over text is that they have asymmetric failure modes… they can work 80% of the time, but often the 20% failure can destroy far more trust than the 80% builds. you’re going to see a lot of fuck up stories on platforms when these things happen. e.g. a personal assistant recently changed someone’s password underneath without him even knowing. that’s a huge huge failure.
