Convex is not a db company. The most accurate way to describe us is a new agent-native cloud that is completely different from the hyperscalers. The abstraction floor always rises. We have come a long way - from racking servers to buying servers to renting VMs to containers. The way we've been building servers and databases is also going to change. The question is, what does abstraction do well enough to make people trust it the way they trust S3 now. That's what we're trying to build.
