there’s a new rumor that OpenAI is close to solving 1-2 more Millennium Prize Problems. fyi, OpenAI wrote in the Navier-Stokes blog that they put seperate agent groups on ALL open millennium prize problems (NS group alone had 10,000 agent) they never said those other groups stopped. so if Navier–Stokes was resolved, any of the other ones could be next at basically any day. that’s what makes the rumor not sounds too far off. personally, I’m most hyped to see what happens with P vs NP.

I am told the Hodge Conjecture is very close to being verified by OpenAI, and that one of OpenAI or Anthropic are also close to solving Birch-Swinnerton-Dyer. The race to be 'next' behind the scenes is unlike anything I've had described to me before If true - and it may not be, given the scale of the rumour mill right now - it could mean 3 Millennium Problems fall in the space of a month. Crazy times
