fair point, but i think there's a difference between software that's purely functional and software that's an experience in itself nobody really cares who made their PDF reader, they just want it to work but it's like books. you could generate a book tailored exactly to your liking, yet you'd still want to read what your favorite author has written there's something special about experiencing something someone else has poured their time, effort, and thoughts into i think the same applies to software. not everything we use is just about getting something done some things are worth experiencing because of the people who made them
