We are currently in a very *hot* market for senior startup talent. The narrative says agents are taking engineering jobs, but the reality is this: we need fewer junior people building, but more senior people to *manage* the agents doing the building. The shift isn't fewer technical leaders. It's fewer juniors. Startups now need a strong technical leader who can leverage agents to build instead of scaling headcount.
