Quinn Emanuel's @JBQLaw says they built a proprietary AI tool that can be used in real time during trial, even helping to question a witness on the stand: "We've developed in-house at our firm a platform that takes large masses of data - all the documents produced in discovery, all the testimony, all the contracts - and organizes it." "Now in the middle of trial, imagine somebody's on the witness stand. You can ask the AI, 'What's the best evidence that so and so just lied about that.' Most of those things you will have thought of, some make no sense, but there will be a couple of gems in there that you might not have thought of - new lines of attack, and that's extraordinarily powerful." "Our goal is to get to a point where the AI yields a work product that's like 80% or 90% there."
