BMWi Ventures just raised a $300M Fund with a thesis that AI will reshape how the automotive industry operates in the coming years. CEO & Managing Director Marcus Behrendt says they want to be as fast as institutional VC's: "We're an independent fund. We have a single LP, we get a capital commitment, but from there on, we are investing in the companies that we deem are financially viable and also bring some benefit to @BMW."
