We spend a lot of time debating which AI model is best and less time asking who can pay their bills. Both @AnthropicAI and @OpenAI are reportedly looking to get investment grade credit ratings. @AIRPlatforms decided to rate them before the agencies did. AIR estimates Anthropic’s credit rating at BBB and OpenAI’s at BB+, below investment grade. The gap ultimately comes down to profitability. Worth reading if you’re following the AI race 👇
