my definition of excellent design is mostly about consistent patterns, coherent surfaces, & getting out of the way rather than constantly drawing attention to itself. ai is rapidly solving most if not almost all of this. these are the things ai is actually really really good at & don’t often even require what is typically referred to as taste if you will. also in the future perhaps branding will also be more minimal consisting of mostly a recognizable name, like a person in your life.
