I read this a few times now. it’s essentially a Declaration of Anxiety with no real proposal, basically saying: > we’re very unhappy that AI is solving “our”problems > we hold the most critical math problems as hostage so we can use them as “landmarks”, and have long annual talks about how we’re trying to solve them > maybe we reach new ideas or textbooks in that attempt, but apparently solving them isn’t our main goal it doesn’t even say what they want. “These issues must be addressed…
