I paid $1,499 for an ad on @marclou's TrustMRR it said "Higgsfield? stop getting scammed π revid .ai/switch" it lasted 13 minutes Marc: "I can't leave that on the site" me: "aaah sorry π " refunded in full Marc cannot go against a sponsor, I respect that side note, Marc's reaction makes a TrustMRR sponsorship even more valuable imo, you know you're gonna be treated well there π my ad is dead but my offer is still live: π Riggsfield customers, your last invoice = 200 free credits atβ¦
Last month, I met @thevarundeep at the meetup I organized in Singapore. He flew from Dubai to pitch me something. His marketing agency connects brands with influencers, and one of his clients, @higgsfield_ai, was interested in sponsored tweets. I never take money to say good things about companies (and never will), so I declined. Instead, I told him they could buy a sponsor spot on @trust_mrr and get in front of 200,000 visitors. He left Singapore the next day at 6 am. Later that day, he emailed me saying they wanted to buy all 20 sponsor slots. I thought that would make TrustMRR look like one giant Higgsfield ad, so I told him they could have up to 5. They bought all 5 for $7,495/mo! That brings @trust_mrr MRR to an all-time high of $26,031 MRR π As a solo entrepreneur with a whopping marketing budget of $0, Iβm surprised by how real companies spend money. They flew someone in to pitch a partnership and were eventually willing to spend $30k/mo. I donβt know if itβs because of the AI race or because I now have a little audience, but itβs impressive to see how much startups are investing in marketing in 2026.
