Ideas are cheap. I've worked in startups for a long time and have had a billion of them. If you have an insight, a whole bunch of other people probably have it too. The methods and processes you use to build and run the thing are what make it valuable. This is the unique advantage that gives you a six-month head start, so you must protect it at all costs.
